one of the trees lining the street has just blown over but other than the wind its not too bad up here.

Affected mate? Not, not really......... you ? good god,it must be awfull for people in that state,when the wind got up here about a hour ago,i said to the wife that I might wheel the bike from the conservatory into the dinning room. the look I got,silly woman thinks I was joking,how wrong she is

Is that wet tarmac or a river Fungo hard to tell from the pic .at the moment its not raining here in Rawmarsh but the fence is flexing a bit in the wind and next doors have lost the roof on there gazebo

Are you opening the Throttle tonight? Drove past earlier and saw one of the windows boarded up - you not had any trouble have you?

And I think it's a genuine pic of the water level.. How that darn door is not p*ssing it though is anyone's guess - must have a good seal..

As a few of you know I'm a postie in taunton & I deliver to parts affected by floods , today I got cut off in flash floods and as we are not allowed to take chances with flood water I had no choice but to ring manager & tell him I was stranded , I had to be rescued & my van is still in the floods as no way of getting it back to depot I will post some pics to show what I mean

The picture of that door is incredible Nick!!
Shame he didnt have the foresight to inject bathroom sealant into the locks before the water reached them.
I guess the doors open outwards and the water pressure (which I imagine is quite considerable) is pushing the doors harder against the seals.
It is a known practice when designing houses in 'exposed' areas to ensure all doors and windows open outward.

This is from my cab so I had to reverse back and another car came from behind and by the time we turned to go back from road we came from it was as bad other side so cut off my van is still there
