The bikes details are
Date of Liability 01 05 1987
Date of First Registration 18 05 1979
Year of Manufacture 1979
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 249cc
CO₂ Emissions Not Available
Fuel Type PETROL
Export Marker N
Vehicle Status Unlicensed
Vehicle Colour BLUE
Vehicle Type Approval Not Available
Vehicle Excise Duty rate for vehicle
6 Months Rate £0.00
12 Months Rate £37.00
So it was originally blue and 250cc but hasn't been taxed since 1987 could be that some of it is on one of our bikes, hopefully!
EDIT 10mins Later, Sorry Graham missed your post!!

Carl do you think the rider of the SD could be Asian as it looks like they are wearing a Kutra I think thats what you call it the type of thing Indian men wear, theres a big flap of material sticking out over the back seat the same colour as his trousers. :)Either that or he was years ahead of his time with the trousers half way down your arse like all the young gangsters wear them now.

If his pants are round his arse like uou suggest then that big red thing on the right must be a boil and not a spare helmet like first thought

What a great picture. An SD and a DT175. Any guesses what the one on the left is? My money is on a Kwak KH750, from what little I can make out on the pic

LLU 957 A Leyland Titan RTW (not a Routemaster) first registered November 1st 1950. Unusual in that it is 8' wide - one of the widest passenger vehicles on British roads at the time. Now in preservation. Only ran through Picadilly on a Saturday as this wasnt its normal route. So Fungo's picture must have been taken on a Saturday and most probably in 1978 or 1979, as Snows (a Schooner Inn) was sold in 1980 to Grand Metropolitain. CT Well Carl, that is some knowledge you have there old bean!

As a slight twist - for some reason I think the woman on the back of the bus is wearing a face mask or is possibly just unfortunately ugly.
Thoughts?

Just spotted something else......
The SD is wearing a fairing (possibly full) and crash bars...

Looks a full one to me........
Rickman or Hondastyle........
The one on the left is also sporting crash-bars..........that tells me it is at least a twin - no need for them on a single.
