I will be investing in one of these next month - just to keep at the back of the wardrobe for when the inevitable time comes that the one on RMM will need replacing.
Pound to a penny, when that time comes they will be NLA!!!

I am slowly rebuilding my CB400N and have just realised that my front mudguard is the old pattern type with the square bracket rather than the rounded one. It is a long time since I took it apart and can't work out how the fender guides fit on the mudguard. The CMS schematic of the mudguard obviously shows a different design to mine so that doesn't help. Does anyone know how they fit on and indeed, what are they actually for?
Following on from this thread concerning the new aftermarket mudguards which are available from DS, I see that it would now cost nearly £140 in total to buy one and wondered what the views are as no-one appeared to have bought one when the thread finished unless it is covered in a different one. Are they any good?
