Hi Guys, I got locked out of this forum for a few weeks, my password would not work even after several attempts of resetting my password. Each time I reset my password I could get into ProBoards where it said Welcome scania but when I tried to log into HondaSuperdream it kept saying wrong password. I could not even find an e-mail for any of the Administrators to sent an email to.
Actually I am not 100% sure I am in the same SD Forum now as the forum I used to be on had two blue Honda SDs on the top banner and not two Black Honda Sds? and I remember 'Shane' was the Administrator?
Anyway I am logged on to some SD forum now so here is my question!
I bought a Laser (analogue) cylinder compression gauge a few days ago, I removed both sparkplugs of my SD400n and measured the compression in each cylinder cold.
I recorded exactly 120psi in each cylinder while just turning the engine over a few times slowly with the start button.
I was wondering how does 120psi look to anyone here who ever measured compression in a SD400n 1980 dark red with orange stripe.
There is a slight flat spot in the throttle just above idle in first gear around 2000 rpm, but once I get above 2000 rpm, then the acceleration suddenly kicks in. I'm a slow careful rider anyway (age has caught up on me)
All suggestions welcome.

Thanks Guys for a good welcome.
Just wondering can anyone tell me what psi would one expect the compression to be in a SD400n to be. And how does 120psi sound?
I probably should post this question in the technical forum, but I will try my look here first anyway.
Thanks.

It's confusing but this forum was born through the need for a non profit forum, run by genuine enthusiarses. The forum you were on was not on the same wavelength as this one.

Although we all built it virtually hence you have the same vibe here as the old one had 'back in the day' when it was good.... Confused? Me too.

Can anyone answer the PSI question for Scania?
You know I'm about as mechanical as a virtual mouse trap......
