If not, cut up the Superdream, there are loads of them. Save the Dream young man. I have two attempts at bobbers/cafe racers out my back, covered up, from people that have started their version of a SuperDream. Keep them as original as you can, apart from a few bits'n'pieces, yours looks ok, I have seen much worse. Gee.

What's your plans for it? To put it back to standard wouldn't be too hard.

first off i would like to apologise to cheggy and gee and anyone else with a 250-400t, i know you guys have restored your bikes to a fantastic original standard and i applaud you both, i have been down the route of restoring a bike 18 years ago and i got carried away looking for this and that part no matter what the cost i had to have it, i have still got the bike and i would be hard pressed to sell her. Sorry gee sorry cheggy and maybe sorry fungobat but i have already started putting my own spin on her, however i have only cut the seat latches off the frame and the seat bridge, i have kept those so if i wanted to return the bike to standard then i just need to weld them back on the frame.

Thanks cheggy, i was a bit worried forum members would be upset about my attempt at modifying a classic, in my defence i can revert to standard if i wanted to as i have kept all my old parts, i have no intention of ever selling the old girl as she has served me well over the 8 years i have owned her, i think that is why in the end i couldnt part with her, throughout the 8 years she never let me down once and i rode her to and fro work 6 days a week This is my frame measurements for the seat bridge and the mould for my seat pan

This is the refurbished frame with seat bridges welded in place, i have kept the side panel lugs in situ incase i may revert to standard in future
