Hi everyone I’m new to this forum I’ve found myself in the unusual position of being able to buy a W reg 250 Superdream.
I had one in the early 80’s but it was written off within 6 weeks and I never got to buy one again. What I need to know is how much am I looking at for buying a 1980’s 250 with 36,000 miles on the clock in mint condition and also are there parts still readily available for them - many thanks…

Hi and welcome. Lots of great advice on here and yes, there are lots of parts available. I’ll paste some links later to the most common websites etc. obviously eBay has bargains at times but can also throw up some items that are so expensive it makes your eyes bleed 😀😀.
I have learned that no one judges you no matter how basic (stupid 😊) a question I ask so welcome to the forum.

First, welcome along. As for price, it depends on the definition of "mint". Anywhere between £1800- £2300.
Parts are still available.

Thanks for the warm welcome I appreciate your comments.
Having seen what is for sale on here I feel I’d be better off waiting to see if something comes up for sale and was gutted to miss out on that beautiful blue 400 superdream as I have also owned a 400 DX with the gold wheels. I can see the 250 I’ve been looking at is way overpriced and great to hear parts are readily available - are there any locals near County Durham where I could check their bikes out and maybe perhaps ride out one day…
