Great picy's.. I had an Enfield "Turbo Twin" like the one shown, the Villiers 4T 250 motors felt smooth and poky but didn't seem to have much top end when compared to the Continental it's four stroke brother which I also later owned. Decoking the silencers regularly was a must for good performance and for ease of starting.

Back in the day, I had a Tiger Cub & my mates, Bernie a C15 & Bud a Bantam. Then Bernie traded the Beeza in for a Continental GT 250 - we were all jealous as hell! I tried to get a 535 GT recently but ended up with the 650 twin for not much more money

I'm struggling to resist the purchase of an Interceptor myself, as you own both a 400 Superdream and an Enfield, how would you rate the performance of one against the other as the Honda is claimed to have 43 BHP, and 47 is claimed for the Enfield, but with about 30% more torque. I'd be very interested to have your opinion on both the performance and handling differences.

We all ride differently, so don't put to much into my opinion, but the 650 feels quite a bit quicker than my 400 Superdreams & handling a bit better, although the 400s seem smoother over rough roads, and they are a bit lighter & easier to paddle around. I had a test ride on an Interceptor on a trip to Wales back in 2019 & was so instantly impressed, I was going to order a new one, but while I was deciding whether to order it from the local dealer back home or the one in Wales, a used one came up in Peel. So, I think it's worth trying to get a test ride from a nearby dealer & take it from there. Meanwhile, it was a non-race day today & the main bike event was Ramsey Sprint. One or two bikes there Just a few of the interesting bikes A pair of of cheeky little monkeys Liked the exhaust on this Cub My favourite bike of the day - the photo doesn't do it justice Seen these mopeds several times around the Island, looks like fun & I bet the whole gang of riders & bikes fitted in a van After the boat bringing bikes & riders from Shetland, there was also a trike tour from Orkney!

Great pics again Ian.
Why is it so much fun looking at pictures of bikes, almost as much fun as seeing them in person.
Gee.

Final day of TT 2022 & the Senior Race finished, so the queue for the ferry home was packed with homeward bound bikes Seen this CB500 around the Island a few times & managed to get a photo today - wonder if Terry will be jealous of that top box?
