Welcome to the forum. You will have difficulty finding a quality front mudguard, we are all looking out for them. You can get a semi decent one for about £100+ then get it re-chromed for about the same money. You will pay well over £200 for a good one. Engine colour, someone will be along to advise you on that or you could get it vapour blasted, that will bring its natural colour back unless its black enamel (engine) of course. Good luck and post pics, lots of help on offer here. Gee.

I need a new mudguard as well so would be interested to hear how a Suzuki GN125 one was made to fit.
I have also heard that of a Yamaha RXS100 mudguard having been fitted to a superdream as well and these are readily available and again a bracket extension was used.

Hi I used the following on my Superdream:
- Upper/Lower Crankcases Cleaned, Aqua Blasted and sprayed 2 Coats Aluminium Etch Paint Grey followed by 5 Coats of Hammerite Silver Smooth;
- Left/Right Crankcase covers Cleaned, Aqua Blasted and then Polished;
- Cam Cover, Cylinder Head, Cylinder Barrels Cleaned Aqua Blasted and Sprayed with VHT Silver Paint then Oven Baked 170C for 2hrs.
The Crankcases looked a reasonable match to what I remember they should look like and easy to get a good Finish. However, I struggled with the VHT paint and was not sure about Temperatures and Timing for baking so played on the conservative side. Possibly could have gone down the Powder Coating route not sure!
Hope that helps
