I can see these decals sets for viewing but where can I buy a set for 1980 250N ? Still going to be silver? It is a Custom silver metallic CB250NA (Frame Number ...-21#####) you have? but the tank had CB250N (1978-79)Tank stripes? Are you going to change the tank stripe to the "NA" version, the side panels and tail looked like they had the correct SP & tail cowl decals (1980), in your intro post... .

Your reply has got me wondering what sort of mongrel bike of bits & pieces I have bought.
I have now looked at the decal sets & the paintwork descriptions for the various models under the other forum sections, mostly added by you I notice, and can see what you mean. The decals show I have an early 250N tank with a later 250NA side panel.
I have also previously noticed that my frame & engine number show that it is a 250NA however it has a kickstart which would make it an earlier 250N.
There are many parts that are aftermarket replacements that mean it is never going to be completely correct to its original specifications without too much expense eg front mudguard, seat, exhaust, master cylinder so instead of 100% correctness I will make the superdream better but not necessarily "right" which I successfully did with my Yamaha SRV250 last year as nobody in UK knows what an SRV250 "should" look like anyway.
So the answer to your question is that I am going to change the colour to Helios red to make it look more like the earlier model with kick start and put the 250N fading blue tank decal set on accordingly.

Sounds a bit like my 250NA. It has the sculpted tank on it and had been crudely painted black with some rather strange silver stickers applied. Also has the earlier kicker engine too. I'm going along the route of making it presentable rather than original as it will be ridden. I have been waiting since Aril last year for Honda to supply a dating certificate for it as it was registered in August '81 on a 'X' plate. I keep getting the 'waiting for Japan to find it' reply from them. No matter though as it will be historic in April this year regardless, just would like to know the manufacturing date. I need to try them for the 400NC too.
My V5 has the close matching frame/engine numbers but the engine fitted is, of course, actually different. The colour matches though.

As these bikes for most of there life were just cheap runabouts so we're kept alive with what ever. Got mine 14 years now I got it to ride not make it look like new again and its a total mut .there is lots of 250s about and every week new finds finding there way to the market. They here about one and look at what's for sale and think a bit of paint and polish and in for a big profit. I am sorry them days are gone and this market relying on disposable income 2022 is not starting well .do the superdream for what it is and what you want out of it not for a monatry gain and then there is no disappointment enjoy the superdream

If you are sure that you do not want it original, I may have a, perhaps, very economical test print on vinyl, but they are not colour correct, but are dimensionally very close, but would need patiently hand cut from the sheet. I could provide the files to reprint the tank stripes with a much closer blue to blue gradient and print perhaps the 250 side panel decals, which should be on transparency but I had the red CB400N kicker done on white with a red background. Hand cutting vinyl takes a bit of concentration, I think it's kinda like on of those fairground electrified wire puzzles, one distraction and the BUZZER goes off . I'll try and find some pics. (I've still to print the corrected files, for my kickers dress uniform, but have been distracted with doing forks, and kitting chain sprockets recently).

Corrected (never printed yet) tank stripes & not NOS 250n sp detail. Can spend hours and hours colouring these in . By the way the red is one used on an NSR 125, from a swatch at my friendly auto paints dealer...

I am not going to spend the time or money trying to get this particular bike to original spec or to excellent condition but to a usable and reasonably good condition example.
I would be more than happy to have a test set, that perhaps you are not happy with for your bike because they are not quite right, but that would be satisfactory for my purpose.
The complete set in your photo above looks fine to me except it has the 400 side logo of course.

I could see if I have any 250N decal components, if I have, you could stick the white super dream on red background and the 250N separate, it may be tomorrow before I can have a rake around....or I can give you the file and have them printed..or there is always the non UK sp emblem.
(If your not using them I would keep two of the 400 side emblems perhaps)
I'll PM you about them, but it may be tomorrow...

Don't spend too long looking for 250N side panels decals as by some strange coincidence I have found a chap only selling a pair of 250N side panel decals on ebay for £5 but he doesn't have any of the other decals !!

I've taken customised NC tail cowl emblem (bottom left) off the end of the sheet, no change to the rest of the set....

Hello, sorry to bother you. I saw that you posted an image for the tank stickers of the Honda CB 400 N. Could you help me by providing the high-resolution file? Thanks infinitely. Corrected (never printed yet) tank stripes & not NOS 250n sp detail.
