Hi, I wonder if anybody can advise? I have the brake assembly fitted and the rear brake stop light switch fitted to my 1981 CM250T. I assume there should be a spring attached to the bottom of the switch which i dont have at the moment. However i cant see where it would attach to the brake pedal as it doesnt seem to line up with any holes for the spring to hook into. Any info would be appreciated. Cheers, Dave.

It's a long narrow spring that sits inside the pedal return spring & slips in the same hole. Here it is on one of my rebuilds, before the return spring was added
