Hi guys, Rona collected her 125 today, weather held back, we were lucky. We went through on the Harley, a lovely wee casual ride to Edinburgh. Two Wheels Honda/Triumph. Calum, the sales guy was braw, even a full tank of fuel, ok, its a 125, but it makes a difference. Rona was getting used to the bike on the way home, as much as you can on a wet road. She did very well, keeping up with me on the Glide. I kept the run between 55 and 60. I then slowed down a tad, to 50 to 55 as Rona was lagging behind (Running her bike in). We had a debrief (sounds professional, alcohol was involved) much later. The bike is much faster than her CB125F(10.5hp) compared to CB125r (14.8), revs similarly quickly, but gets there easier and faster. 130kg and almost 15hp compared to the SuperDream 166kg and 27hp...hhhmmmnnn?. Rona hasn't been on a bike much this year, the aches have started, usual hand, wrist and arm plus the butt, but hey ho, these will soon disappear with more use. I myself managed fine, first time on my bike since my operation on my hand, the vibes from the Glide annoyed it, but with cruise on, I could take my hand off for a bit, then the ache went away. When through at Two Wheels I spied a DCT Honda Goldwing, now seeing if we can work out a deal on it, the Glide doesn't have reverse plus it is SO top heavy. Here are the two pics I took of Rona collecting her bike, she was as proud as punch. Gee.

Sounds good Gee, 55-60 is good going for a 125. The YBR is similar, even holds it up hill. I used a few 125s for the winter commute some years back & none of them were as quick uphill.

The bike will do 75 with ease Ian, its lightweight and the 15hp version, there is a youtube one of 85 but flat on the tank. Rona's old CB125f (10.5hp), it was a 2017 version, was seriously slow, she couldn't over take anything on a country road, no ooomph at all. it struggled to get to 65 and conditions had to be very right. She will be able to on this, it red lines at just under 11000rpm compared to 9000 for her older one. The dash is rather cool looking I think.

New motorcycle looks good Graham. Congratulations. It's Rona's, mines is the Harley next to it, But can I add, I did think about the 300cc version that gets such a good right up. If I didn't work where I work and could park it safe, I would have bought one, same colour as Rona's but 300cc and 31hp, g-force eh!
Nice rear.

It took me a little while working out if this was some sort of accommodation pod on the back of the Harley - then i realised it was a side opening topbox ~ lol Regards, bb
