I'm always in two minds with oil. I think back to 40 years ago and what oil was available then and think if it was good enough then, it should be now. Then start to think about the improvements that have been made and 'convince' myself semi-synthetic is what I need. But as we change the oil every year and well below the mileage recommended, see no problem with using that oil. £30 for 5L seems a good deal. I have a 250 and 400 to do and think I'll get some. Thanks for posting.

there a lots of things i think i know about but there is one thing i do know about is Tribology.there is no fountain of youth of oil they all do the same thing.yes some do it better than others ,a trip to your local bike night is not like 5 laps of the TT when your engine would probably appreciate the good stuff.it would like giving me a tot of the good stuff graeme it would not be appreciated.if your happy with what you have purchased go for it .i buy cheep but change every year no matter the milage what i change goes into the wife's car so not wasted.lots of engines today require oil that was designed for that engine but are superdreams were designed to run on mineral multigrade and as the budget asda mineral oil will be more than adequate if changed regularly .more damage is dune with short runs and letting it tick over on the drive after a polish ,oil is like e10 fuel it absorbs moisture if not boiled away by hot oil and the moisture leaves through the breather,it creates acids in the oil .well i go for cheep and often and if the bike is going to start its going somewhere unless its for maintenance.oil its all more than adequate today this is what the bikes i have on the road this year are running on except the buell that gets special treatment. the westway is in the harley and the triumph £20 from a local motor factors that my brother -in -law uses and the comma of amazon £16 delivered and the superdream is running fine
