well the new tyres are well scrubbed in now and the last two weeks been messing with the tyre pressures.i have maxxis on the bike first time i have had this brand and i am impressed they are very sticky especially in this weather, way beyond the bike and my capabilities and not bad in the wet .tyre pressures forget what it says in the holy bible they are telling you what they think is the best for joe average and the ditch finders they fitted 40 years ago.tyres have come a long way and if you want the period look this thred is not for you, what you ride the number the manufacturers give is a guide line change the make and you are 18 stone you need to experiment .my buell is the most sensitive bike i have ever had get it wrong its terrifying when its right its a bike you keep .well i think i now have the magic numbers 30psi front 34psi rear lower pressures on the front and speeds below 40 on tight corners it wanted to tuck in the higher pressure than 30psi made the front bouncy.all i an saying experiment you might be surprised
