Spotted this nice Kwacker in the paddock at a race day up at Jurby track today Some good racing with a big entry, lots of classes & lots of novices The racing on the cart track next door looked fun, classes for Pit bikes, Supermotos and most fun of all - C90s

I had two scooters Ian one as gone but kept the best a very highly modified gilera runner that I ran on the road but was made to race on the go kart tracks mainly at Barnsley it never got going the last meeting I went to was 2013 shame love to go round jurby track when you open back up I hope next year but did they stop it when the classic was on.mate as paid 10k for a kh400 with 40 miles on the clock and it will not start but that's not a problem to him as he doesn't ride his bikes. In the process of building a hill climb sprint bike just want to have a go before I'm past it more pics Ian the bike meets around me are quiet up to now

The Jurby festival you came over for has finished Mark, not because of covid, but it got too big & costly for the VMCC, who ran it, so they pulled the plug. The kart track is next door to the Jurby race track - with a bit of head turning you can watch both at the same time . You could probably enter in those races any time. A couple of years ago I got a call from a mate I used to work with in at Ferranti in the early 80s. He was coming over for a 24 hour go cart endurance race on the Jurby cart track & managed to track me down. Spent a few days showing him the Island & watching the cart racing - that looked great fun too, but maybe not as much fun as the little bikes
