I recently managed to get my CB400NC pin out ok, probably because when the bike was apart for powder coating just before I bought it, and the pin had been buffed back before re-assembly, with a large amount of play, but at least they greased it... so replaced it with a better one.I'm thinking on future work in this area, and I thinking a grease nipple in the left end and a couple of holes to occasionally pump some grease in through the pin to the stand tube. Anyway the previous owner had re-assembled with mostly, the old zinc depleted bolts (swapped many out now, especially the front engine mounts) Anyway put everything back after the center stand / spring issue, went to adjust the brake pedal and that M6 x 25 adjuster bolt sheered when undoing the lock nut. Spent a good couple of hours, with a 2.5mm endmill in a dremmel, a 4.2mm and two different drill/m6 tap combos, to get the old bolt out without having to dismantle ( could not get a direct line to the thread position when assembled). Anyway that M6 x 25 screw/fully threaded bolt and lock nut - rear brake pedal adjustment will now be A4-70 stainless, after the bother it gave me

well now cleaned up looks a lot better than the last pic but the feet are well worn so tomorrow will plate the bottom and try to get a better shape so it will go on the stand easier
