a friend and work colleague succumb to the horrible addiction fags,well got a call we are clearing out his house and there some bits left in the garage if you want them if not they will be going in the skip.aug 2014 my mining career was over i will never be allowed down a mine again .well i had two tool boxes one down thoresby colliery and one at harworth central workshops.i never seen the toolboxes again or there contents again till today.they were my old whitworth spanners from my toolbox at the harworth workshops .all the good stuff was in my other tool box.i got most of them when i past out as a mechanic of the mine .i know my tools and they came out of my box

I've got some just like those ,same shade of rust too .I've not used them for years but I wont part with them you never know when someone might give you a project that they'll fit

Amongst them Terry were a nice set of Whitworth never used them since 1979 when I got them but they have a job now.the rest well I do not think my neighbours would appreciate a dosco parked on the drive. Have cleaned them up and now wall ornaments. And now cleaned up I can see the 3 pop marks I made.

Wonder if the Repair Shop would be interested in them they are always working on very old Machines.
