Hi All, Afraid I'm here under slightly false pretences, I'll come clean I'm a CM 250T owner! Hope that doesn't lead to an early expulsion.. I got the bike in bits almost twenty years ago. The exhaust, mudguards, and chain were missing, presumed rotten, but it had only 16k on the clock, and was very cheap. It languished in my home garage untouched till about three years ago, when I took it into my business workshop unit to work on it between jobs. From reading other intro's I see you all like some picy's so I've added a few below..     |

How is that tank rack fixed to the tank Willy ,looks usefull ?

Hi Terry, I made a mould from a small section of the top of the tank, and from that made the plate shown in the attached pic with the three holes in it. The plate is affixed to the tank with structural epoxy and has two threaded inserts bonded in, that allow the rack to be removed if required.  |
