Hi just looking at some of the other bikes that members have. Being from the older generation I'm not to keyed up on modern tech. Just wondering how do you put pictures on the forum to share with members.

An old mate of mine he’s 84 recently restored a C11 from a box of bits bit heavy for a 250 but lovely looker.I only sold my Kettle due to not being able to bend my leg and worried lack of use would not do the crank seals any good reluctantly sold it to a guy in my VMCC group😢 replaced it with a Hondamatic and twist and go scoots had a new knee and all well but me other knee need doing now😁 joys of getting old lol. A kettle would be on my list of dream bikes ❤️

this is what i was riding when my superdream was new, lived at work and put my gs1000s in for it 97 miles on the clock guy bought it scared his self to death got it well below book from carnell motor group sister looked after his horses so got mates rates but when they checked out my gs1000s i had worn through the side stand bracket and the frame down tubes under the engine and worn through the left side engine casing they scrapped it i was not very popular with the sales staff after that .it did not stay like that the big kat ended up with straight bars yoshimura 4 in to one and a metmachex alloy swinging arm, his brother had arrived and there sister was not far behind 3 months into the strike run out of excuses to keep it plus i was running a kawasaki kl250 .when i got back on my feet i went to the guy to try and buy it back but he had sold it on but a 1987 1100 slabbe had come my way and lost interest in the big cat in the end wish i had gone for the 750 lot better bike.then the 90s arrived and i was just a kid in a candy shop .this pic survived because it was off my son

reading through the site i read the thread about your matchless and that they are a bit if a rarity up your way .they are quite a few around here some are badged ajs but are more or less the same thing.this is my contribution had it 13 years now mag let me down so laid up the capacitor failed but now there is a modern piece of tec that puts them wright just got it out to get ready for this summer.my 1949 matchless g80c it goes quite well stopping is a different matter.never had any restoration work never will its took over 70 years to get like this.but putting a modern carb on it for this summer the old one needs resleeving now very worn.only time it leaks is when its stood for a long time ,it wet sumps and oil runs out of the overflow
