I think from memory one vehicle I had I was the 24th or 25th owner, will need to see if it one I still have as I can't remember which one it was. It may be something I have now sold on. Most of my current vehicles are only on their 2nd,3rd or 4th owner despite their age but most of them are also pretty low mileage

I am putting 6 on the road this year and I have one wish that is they have a lot more miles on them than they have now By coincidence, I did a check on mileage today, wondering how much less we did in 2020 with the lockdowns compared to 2019 - I was quite surprised. In 2019 we had 6 trips away, 2 to the Peaks for the Derbyshire meet then Crich, and 4 to Wales, one of which took us back to the Peaks for a couple of days, then on to the Dales meet - we did around 10,000 mile each that year. I was expecting 2020 to be a lot less, but we did around 7,000 miles each, despite lockdown. Still hope to get the trips away & back up to 10,000 this year though

I road the bikes all last year mainly the Harley as its a big bike but very easy to ride Ian.i past lots of police they were not interested i do ride with s s and the dragons and when in groups we became a intrest to the police are name's were taken and would be fined if court again. As I prefer the bike to the car I did 600 on the triumph and just under 3000 on the Harley before I had the accident 20k was a average for the year 400 a week was my commute to work.i know the TT is a no no Ian but has there been a decision on the classic yet

That's why I was working out the mileage Mark. We used our bikes for 'essential shopping trips last lockdown. If we got stopped, I planned to use the fact that we'd done 10,000 miles each on the bikes compared to about 1,200 in the car, so we are more experienced & safer on 2 wheels than 4 & we need both bikes with top boxes to get enough food so we don't have to leave home too often . Never got stopped anyway. We'll use the same reasoning this time. With no Stafford, we only did a few hundred miles in the car to our 7,000 on the bikes. No news on the Classic TT over here yet either, I suppose it depends on how quickly the vaccine is rolled out.
