there as been some builds on this forum that would put professional restorers to shame, and the detail they have gone to would shame honda. but there is all types of builds and i believe there is a side that as not been encouraged on here ,and its a shame .i know its to personal taste but but there as been just as much effort in fact probably more .this gives me a question these two were on facebook not a site i go on but the wife showed me these two.i would have loved to see these two being created .they do look good with spoke wheels

Indeed fantastic bikes! Shame that we don’t see those kind of projects here. Will post one extra pic
No spoke wheels, but the black comstars look fine to me!

I like all of those bikes. I think Pebe's Cafe has the edge despite the lack of spoke wheels - the bodywork's more 'professional', although I like the engine paint on Mark's. I had considered doing a cafe with one of mine - having 3 'standard' SDs is a bit boring - but ageing joints say it's probably not a good idea now. I saved this picture I saw cos I thought it was a nice conversion & a neat way to disguise the standard tank profile

And another one... Beautiful handmade tank, which looks great in combination with the shiny engine, the black frame and pipes and the gold coloured accents. Nice tailpiece with a tilted registration sign holder, USD forks,..a real racy exposure..

I must admit when done right they do make great cafe/scrambler conversions 👍

Anybody here who made use of the CRK kits? Not cheap but custom made.
