Decent forecast for today, so we went to pick up Gill's latest acquisition, but like nearly all her bikes, it was ridden home in the rain. After a hosing down, it's now in it's new home in the conservatory (no room in the bike shed ) It will need some nicer weather before it goes out again

We'll probably get rid of the YBR after winter, or maybe the CB125T will go....... (Gill says 'why does anything have to go!')

It's a Honda MSX125 Carl, now known as a Grom. It's a sort of retro Monkey bike. We've met a few lads on these & the Benelli TNT125 which is very similar. They got them to have fun on & the same to do just that. Gill took a fancy to them & this came up at the local dealers. Someone bought a couple last year to put in their camper van, but with border restrictions they never got used. Gill's has done 180 miles - the other was 140 but we didn't like the black colour scheme on that one (reminds me of my hard up youth when we sprayed our rusty cars with rattle can matt black

Rona and I were in Aberfoyle in the summer, as we do.
An older chappie had one, he had "pimped" it.
Akropovic exhaust, a carbon fibre bodykit like a seat cowl and bits for the forks, all carbon fibre.
Pretty sure is was a black one, gold calipers, gold anodised footpegs and the like...
We were so busy chatting I never got a pic, I will see him next summer and he has about 20 or so bikes and arrange a pic.
By the way, he absolutely loved it.
Gee.
