I have had them in my life since the 80s when I used the wife's honda melody for work .the last two in my life were both far from standard. Still got the gilera the aprillia as gone to a good home, both would show there back light to most sports bikes up to 60.but last weekend the world record was broke for a road legal full paneled scooter a lambretta sx200 broke the flying mile at a average of 127mph.so if you get a ping ping in your ear and look in your mirror and see a red lambretta let him pass it may be tony

My wife wanted a scooter so I bought a 1962 BSA sunbeam 250. Once it was here she didn't want to know (fickle woman!) so I started riding it to work now and again. It was pretty fast as it was a 250cc Twin and was great fun. Eventually sold it as if she didn't want it there was no point keeping it and I had three other bikes anyway.
