Dropped off my spare tank and side panels (airbox covers) yesterday to a guy who has painted for me before over here. He did paintwork on my other BSA. He reckons they will be ready for collection within a week and a half. The panel at the top left is a NOS one in the correct BSA Firebird Red that this bike would of been from new so he has a good 'swatch' to work with, which of course will also be repainted due to the storage scratches. There are some very small minor dents in the LHS tank which he will also address. I will upload pictures of the results and cost when I receive them back. I am also in negotiations to pick up a 4 gallon (bigger) home market tank which is in the UK, this will be the one that I may be getting Duffer to repaint in the near future, that tank will be staying in the UK as a further spare, I do like the look of the bigger tank.
