When I saw the ad on facebook I knew you'd have a quick sale. Almost giving it away! I was tempted myself for my lad (13 and 6'3").
Riding a bike in China for us is crazy. The stuff I've seen going on is plain mad. Legally, you need to have a Chinese licence. So you need to do a written test, in Chinese and then a riding test again in Chinese. You cannot convert your licence to ride. But if you have a car and bike licence you can do this together but it can be in English! You can't ride in downtown areas of some cities and you can't ride on the highways. You can't even go inside the fourth ringroad aroung Beijing. You need to produce your docs to buy petrol too. Locals get away with most of this as they know to keep away from government buildings and ignoring the police is common practice.
Their quality of the Chinese bikes is getting better and the lesser known makes are now being imported here. Emissions laws in China are getting tighter too which helps with the export. Parts are plentiful and cheap.
But I do think that we will see a rise in the E-Bike market as there has been in China.
Apologies, I went a little off thread!

Just stumbled across this thread while googling and had to register to say I bought one of these bikes :-D The one with reg starting WCH that had no compression on the right cylinder, turned out to be a bent valve.

Hi and welcome, it must have been my son you dealt with, whats your plans for it? It was yes, pleasure to deal with. I’m new to bikes so restoring it as a way to learn. Then hopefully in spring I’ll do a CBT and get some riding experience. It’s currently all stripped down apart from the front end, planning to get the frame powder coated and then build it all back up with cleaned/repaired/replaced parts as needed.

I was having a good read of this yesterday, shame about the pics later on. It's a good write up, and I've had some very similar issues with stuck bolts, etc. I think my swingarm bushes will be the same as yours
