So quick update, I put a fuel line into each of the four complete bikes, one started and ticks over sweet but it’s blowing at the header pipe gasket, the other three have strong spark but only splutter and try to go. So I’ve dropped the carbs off one and I’ll strip them and give them a nice bath in the ultrasonic cleaner. I plan to get them running and move them on for restoration, I may keep one to restore in the future.

It’s either the price or the bike but these little Superdream’s do create a lot of interest when you advertise them. This one is sold pending collection this afternoon. I think Mark was spot on people are looking for projects for the winter and these bikes are small and light to work on in the garage/shed.

I must say the carbs are very easy to remove compared to the 250 and appear to be a more simple set up. The silver one above would not start, but had a good spark, so I pulled the carbs stripped them down gave them a ultrasonic bath and a good dry with compressed air and refitted them in less than 2 hours. She now breathes life again 😃.

I have to say that its a far better looking bike than most you see on e-bay and looks mostly original

You must have made your money back and half more so far.
Good business. Glad they have not been broken up, hopefully restored.

You must have made your money back and half more so far. Good business. Glad they have not been broken up, hopefully restored. It’s nice to make a shilling, but it’s more about the bikes. I’m confident they are going to like minded bike restorers, the first one went to a 72 year old who restores bikes and the second to a local guy who’s restoring it for his lad to learn on, strange his comment was my lad wanted a Chinese bike and I’m not buying that crap he said, funny how times change, that’s the old “British and Jap crap” statement of old. However I’m site Japan’s motorcycle industry won’t go the same way as ours 😢. The main thing is “YOU MEET THE NICEST PEOPLE ON A HONDA” especially a super dream .

I suspect in. Few years Japan will not have a small bike industry just the big ones
China etc will lead the world on small bikes
That said my plan is to buy a Chinese one for Ellen - 17 on Wednesday
