Stafford show is pre-purchased tickets only - no purchase on the gate
Normally tickets are use any day - this year they are specific to either the Saturday or Sunday and there are fewer of them
Suggest you buy ASAP as I think the Saturday tickets may sell out
As usual I will arrange a meeting place around lunch time to have a catch up

Kempton has been cancelled I wonder if Stafford will suffer the same fate So Stafford is ticket only and limited Kempton was ticket but also buy on the gate - I am hoping that may be the reason - I am pretty P155ed off as I spend 2 hours last night writing my list for Stafford

I was going to buy a ticket but have been holding back as I was aware of the situation in Birmingham and surrounding areas from friends I have living there. It's all very confusing at the moment as things are getting cancelled at very short notice. A couple of meets close to me have gone and the monthly one in our village, Pride and Joy, has not taken place at all this year. It was decided that the health of and well being of the villagers is more important than the meet. It's very popular and gets a very large attandance for our small area. It's held on the first Tuesday of the month and everyone is welcome no matter what you drive. We have mostly classic cars but also bikes, military and tractors.
To me a show like Stafford is a gathering, maybe not a social gathering, but still a gathering and with many in attendance. I know it's a month away, but you have a government minister saying they hope to review things at Christmas! I was looking forward to going along with my lad as it had been a few years since I last went. I have a list of things too, Pete, so we may have been fighting over something! I'm in a high risk group, so I'm told, so after the recent announcements have decided not to go, even if it does go ahead. There will be another next year, I hope.

No reason has been given for the decision to cancel, wonder if it is because of restrictions in place for the horse racing?

The way things are going in this country it was to be expected. As you know, I decided to give it a miss for this reason but sorry for the guys that were planning to go.
I hope we get back to being able to go to these events again, most likely sometime next year. I hope to be able to meet up with everyone then.
