On this very day in 2005 I was 31. I hired a battered LWB yellow Ford Transit from Redditch and rode down to the west country to collect my silver 1982 CB250N Deluxe, listening to a crackly 'Speed of Sound' by Coldplay at least three times during the journey there and back.
My question to you all is.......where has that 15 years gone?
Owning silver bikes is truly a joy but also a curse.......they make the years fly by quicker than the MPH.

I have to say Nick, you use that tongue of yours better than a $5 Benghazi lady of the night. With not having the benefit of silver anything, life has been slower with me, the last 15 seem like 5. The grey is steady, not overly grey, not unduly dark. Still hitting the pan...from 2 feet. Kidding, been sitting down to pee for years..Rona's orders. Cant do the curries or spicy food anymore though, seems the older you get, the quicker it wants to come back out of you, with less notice. Fell out with most of my friends..no thats not true, all of them. Just Rona and I, just the way I need it But happy with it all. I have the best woman, nice cars and bikes (even the Harley) and alcohol....plus a blaster and an ultra sonic cleaner. Life is good. Next. Gee.

Especially through that period - the 1980's. Very interesting stuff Mark.
