In the mid 70s we were running feral on motorcycles lots of well paid jobs at the pits railway and other industries that were around at the time .no training whatsoever you could be the proud owner of a suzuki gt250 yam rd250 my choice kawasaki kh250 not menny Honda's around as they were s××t pre superdream. I had been riding bikes from a young age but still had no road sense but lots i knew had never road a bike in there life.full of testosterone we would be out in large groups most nights .probably what saved me i needed to be at work for 6am so not out to the early hours. every week I knew of someone had someone had hit a car or come off there was two wards full of motorcycle rtc related injuries and most weeks I would be visiting mate's. But there were a lot I new never got to a&e my eldest rides bikes at this time a z750.and I am glad he was in his mid 20s and went through all the training to get his full licence. Just look at the groups of youths you see around then give them high powerd 250s well that what it was like in the mining villages in the 70s it was the wildwest and nobody caird less
