Looks like cosmetically the same generator cover on all those models - just Honda playing tricks with the part numbers again John? .

Just as an extra observation.....I have seen that French advert before. Honda really 'sexed up' the look of that CB400NB (1981) to give most of the parts a black chrome appearance. But that was pure marketing / lighting trickery, none ever appeared like that in real life. I'm glad as they were beautiful as they were but black chrome was becoming big on bikes around this time and perhaps this is why they did it. (Shock springs and silencers as a glaring example).

This is 1980 as well I I prefer the blue and then the black colour schemes over the silver, however Honda surely got the money shot for this brochure, it looks great 💪🏿 It took hrs to get that shot Carl trying to slow him down so after this brochure they tended to use the slower colours to save money

Has anyone got a photo of a German/European 400NA, I mistakenly put na on my earlier post as we were talking about a 1980 model/brochure. It’s all getting very confusing 🤣

I think too fast to photograph as most were silver.......hopefully someone has a pic of the slower colours.
