Google search says it was September 1986 a time when I was 3 years into not owning a bike 😢 I first visited Fowler’s in 1996 to get parts for my 1988 GS850.

What was the model and colour of your new Superdream Nick? Is the bike still around?

Remember it well worked in Queens Road in Clifton and commuted in every day from Bath on my silver 250 with large Honda fairing, had to pass right by Fowlers. Then it was just the buliding you can see grew a little with the rebuild and carried on growing.

What was the model and colour of your new Superdream Nick? Is the bike still around? Hi Neil. It was my silver 250N deluxe that I have now owned for 15 years. Originally supplied by Fowlers......log book states 01.01.82. I had the number plate re-produced some years back.

Come to think of it I first went to Fowlers a week after Cozy Powell died near Bristol in 1998 😢.

Looks as good if not better than the day it left the showroom Nick. Incredible work.

Looks as good if not better than the day it left the showroom Nick. Incredible work. Thanks Neil. Any recent pics of yours? Yes and no really. I’ve spent hours and hours cleaning mainly and working on the areas not so visible. I thought i’d check out the areas prone to seized bolts/screws etc and other possible problem areas first this time. Trying to avoid any nasty surprises although i guess that can never be ruled out with a 40 year old bike. Had a few dramas but nothing disastrous. I’ve replaced a few nuts/bolts/washers/screws/springs, a starter motor and a battery chassis. It’s fair to say i’ve got lots more to do than i’ve done. I will try and add some pictures of some of the work so far.
