just had a visit from a mate george i recognised the exhaust note of his old thunderbird but the there was another bike with him . his mate had just picked up a R E 650 continental gt as it only had 38 miles on the clock he could not tell me much about the bike but he had noticed it did not have the bottom end grunt of the bonne his last bike but at 71 and a new hip last year the R E feels a lot easier to manage .ticking over at the side of george's thunderbird had a low down deep burble and when they left not loud a low deep note that was nice i preferred it to george's bike but i will never say that to george.it reminded me of the failed yamaha twins of the late 70s i think they were the xs range

Very nice bike nic but at this present time I want alot of bang for my bucks and at 6k I would be looking for a 60s intiseptor. But WAS IMPRESSED nice bike
