Up at the crack of dawn today. Well, for us anyway. We had a 9am appointment for a vehicle test for the imported RSD. Passed ok, , so we headed off to Peel for a celebratory cuppa Our bikes were a bit overshadowed by these 2 Both bikes belonged to just one of the riders. His collection includes a Rapide & a Black Shadow, oh & a BSA C12 - 'cos it was his 1st bike! For us, it was back to the Post Office to get the RSD IoM registered, then home to remove the UK number pale and fit the IoM plate, from my CB500 which I'd put on retention to go on my Interceptor 'cos I expected to get it from the UK That was Gill's longest ride on the RSD, so I asked which was best, RSA or RSD? Apparently, 3 trips away will be required to make that decision - one for each bike for assessment, then a 3rd for confirmation. BUT, the runner up will not be available for my ownership

This comment made me chuckle out loud ."That was Gill's longest ride on the RSD, so I asked which was best, RSA or RSD? I do like them Terry, great fun to ride. I'll just have to look for one of my own . Gill reckons the RSD is slightly smoother, but after initially cursing the RSA kickstart, she now misses it's challenge when she's on the RSD! We applied for the test on the 20th May Chris, the lady there said the waiting list was " horrendous". The guy who owned the 2 Brit bikes had never owned a Jap bike, but me & his mate, who I gathered did all the tinkering on them, shared a couple of previous bikes, a CB250G5 & a 500/4
