I have to say.....that Yamaha is ugly in comparison. Sorry to say that Carl but I know I can say it to you without you turning funny - but what the hell went wrong with the design of motorcycles? When you look at your other bikes there, the beauty does not even compare. That said, of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder and it is good we don't all like the same thing.

our lads old cb900 was a bit of a big heavy hector (not a criticism, I liked it) fast and stable but you had to give a bit of effort to get it to turn, the brakes on that were ok, not exceptional but fine by the standards of the day

You’ve made a superb job of the CB750 Carl. Looks very nice indeed. I’ve considered buying a CB750 or a CB900 myself a few times over the years

I new you would like the bike Carl they are a bit top heavy but that was a late 70s 80s thing .I got the brakes better with braided and Armstrong competition pads if you can still get them.nick you are like the armish tec before and after a certain date is against your beliefs

Just not seeing it bud, sorry. No doubt they ride spot on but to pull up outside a pub, and sit there and look at something like this would fill me with dread.

I had a KZ version way back, I was a lot younger then, but I still found it heavy - took Gill for a spin on it once trying to impress her, then dropped it trying to heave it on the centre stand!
