Go on to the geek web site put in H D rear led light there are different types but the one I got was £25 plus £7 post. Been on the DOHC forum there is some issues with tensioners not a big problem. If it's a straight bike with some minor issues and the 900 is the one to have it's not out at £800, they are a lot of bike for that money. I would be more worried if it smoked

I don’t understand why the owner thinks that the head gasket could be leaking and causing the choke operation not to make any effect on the idle speed?

The bike as probably got carb issues they are the same as the superdream and suffer the same problems. As with all air cooled engines if the head gaskets went you would hear it or loose a cylinder or oil Carol.as buster said the carb intake rubbers may have gone hard.80s and 90s large capacity bikes have a poor resale value at this time, there are exceptions I do not need to tell you what they are,the born again brigade do not want big bikes, likes of me ho as been riding all my life and as had big engine bikes do not look for old big bikes so this market is in the twilight zone at the minute. Mine is a 750 not a slow bike the brakes can give you trouser changing moments and if you're yoused to modern big fat 17in wheels the narrow tyres of this era will improve your riding style. I would keep mine but the wife says the bike is not for you
