topped the heating oil up a couple of weeks back 23p per litre (for non bumpkins, thats pretty cheap)

I think you are right.
What's odd is that BSA used to put the smaller tanks on the A65's destined for here. A few Americans that I have spoken to about it says the reason is that there was always a gas station on every corner.

I am out most days, rode up to Scottish border from Durham then home via Corbridge, took a flask and a bite to eat, didn't talk to anyone ... Roads are pretty quiet, I just go out mornings through the week and stay home sat/sun apart from local shopping on the 90? |
