NO 7 everybody should have one in there shed 50 years ago i would have destroyed it on the pit tip and in the woods between my parents and the pit.my 1971 honda c90 another bike from tips from a builder found in the back of a garage in dewsbury.the trouble is when i show interest i shoot myself in the foot,it is a good solid bike but somebody had cut the back mudguard D SILVERS £39 saved the day now ready to paint.tax disc on the bike said 1979 i put some fuel in the tank and it started but the exhaust system just turned into dust.they made honda what they are today what is it now 20 million and still rising

I dont know if I can really count this as a bike, as yet its just a vague collection of parts most of an old bsa fleetstar and recently acquired this c15 engine to go with it quite a few bits missing, clutch, mag wheel, stator the list goes on. happily though it does appear to have gears and in this pic we have another significant part missing, I'm sure the eagle eyed amongst you might spot it I'd also like to say a massive thankyou to britpete for the engine cover (in that last pic) and also for the manuals, they really are very much appreciated

Thanks for the 535 info Ian, be interested how you get on with it, they're still on my radar Quick update for you Ian , having done a few miles on mine I've found the mirrors do vibrate but only so you can't see out of them sensibly between 2,500 - 3000 rpm - unfortunately that brackets 50 mph though . Not fast in that I suspect a well ridden Silver 250 SD wouldn't be far behind ! Probably more of a Sunday play bike than a CB500 replacement I suspect .
