The body work looks like a great take on the past. But personally I would never buy one or anything post 2005/6......I am strictly carbs and biking old school. Even my dad embraces technology in everything but with bikes (and music), I just can't.....I'm always looking back to those golden times....

Better job than the "new" Katana IMO , slightly mixed styling , could do a better job with the wheels maybe and not have a 60s style tank badge but a "proper" Honda text graphic ?

Agree Ian, I’d really like to see a return to the iconic tank stripe decal with HONDA written within it.....I think it is feature which defined that era. Badge is out of place.

overall I like it, if I was being really picky I'd prefer it if the angle at the front of the tank matched the angle of the forks. the real clincher for me though is I dont want a bike with ABS or (if its got it) traction control. not forgetting of course that my bank account generally runs on empty and I could never afford one

the early 80s was a exciting time traded the gs1000s for a 1100 katana as soon as I seen it I wanted one lived at work for two months and the Elsie what fun that bike was the rest of the 80s not a deal rocked my boat .the 70s that was a decade the japs started to show the world how to build motorcycles,i had a kh500 at 18 went on one last year road one back from a bike night the guy wanted a ride on the a10 the brakes were worse than the beesa had a hinge in the middle of the frame I remembered that and the bang of power was still there ,and the smoke trail it looked like a shot down b17 had flown down stripe road, all I can say a 60 year old brain does not work like a 17 year olds.the 90s that was a arms race I believe motorcycles developed more in that decade than in the last 100 years even the smaller models had brakes that worked went round corners .now radical brakes abs EEM and EFI are norm but are norm in your family run about.for 10k you can get a bike that can out perform a million plus hypercar and are as docile as a 250 superdream if you want.we are a species that evolves and the 80s as a decade is one I do not wish to be stuck in the moustsche mullet pastel coloured coloured clothes them shoulder pads slip on shoes no socks is a look that I would not get away with now.i have got bikes from the 40s to the present day I have not got a era I would buy a bike from the 1920s as easy as buying a 2020 .you need to be diverse in life in all things

That looks very nice Mark I’ve been looking out for one for a while now, (ideally a black one) looks like the seat has been altered for a shorty like me 👍

Love the look of those old original Goldwings, a few have come up very cheap over here.....but I'd imagine they can be a real expense if they are not running right. (Water cooled belt driven I believe).
Are those side panel emblems on the piss ? I don't think that is how they should be.

They are a big heavy and they are a tall bike but the guy I got it off was not very tall and he told me he had the seat altered I found the bike fine and on the move they become very light and become a well balanced motorcycle. What I can't understand they are a lot heavier than my 400 superdream but the brakes are loads better.you can pick 750 and 900 for not a lot of money. This bike was on my watch list on ebay came up as unsold .the bike was local so I emailed him and went and had a look. He had had the bike for about 20 years but a hip replacement had made him call it time.£460 lighter and of to loz for his trailer. Was a month sorting the carbs out two new tyres mot on the Wednesday the Sunday evening in Sheffield northern general being put back together. Was there two months my eldest sorted my insurance they offered me £2450 and a buy back of £750 that put a smile on my face.parts are cheap and plentiful and they are very good bikes with bullit proof engineering and they are lookers and they know it
