Boris Johnson today. " Even if you think you are personally invulnerable, there are people that you can infect and whose lives will then be put at risk".
If we can just take the politics out of this for a moment, that seems like a fairly clear statement to me. I don't for a minute expect that any of those people think they are doing anything wrong, no more than anyone buying that extra single packet of bog roll they don't yet need, but the result is the same. The infection spreads and the shops are empty.
All this is an individual choice.
I was looking forward to Stafford bike show and putting some faces to you lot, but it will wait. Derbyshire is not far away from me for the run out, but it will wait. My old Mum goes into hospital for a cancer op on Wednesday, I would like to see her first, but instead I must wait. So to all those at Devils bridge and other locations, I would suggest you think about the others, if not yourselves, and wait.
Just sayin.

Will start by wishing your Mum all the best for Wednesday duffer👍 Me and my mate Dave went for a ride through Cotswolds on our Burgmans on Sunday, lots of bikes out everywhere we went and passed a few massed meets. We stopped in middle of nowhere in an empty car park and set a stove up to brew a cuppa.Apart from that I’ve been staying at home with Mrs.DFS picking few essentials up when we walk dogs daily.Talking of bog rolls we were on Cirencester bypass bog rolls scattered everywhere obviously dropped by a panic buyer ( selfish bastard 😡 ). Won’t be repeating it Likely last ride out till Don’t know 😢 Still pop out on Burgman hospital appts and bit shopping though

Didn't think of the camping stove - think we've got one somewhere - so just took a couple of drink bottles Not much risk of catching anything in Peel & bit of compensation for missing out on Derbyshire.

Good to get out, but still in isolation😀
I would think sanitiser spray (or gel) before putting the gloves back on would be the thing to try.
Sad if people cannot do the social distancing thing, and decontaminate after touch potentially contaminated surface. I think the crucial thing is not touching your face or eyes when out and about. I've got a phobia on swing door handles (shops), push them open with my elbows now.!
Surely the panic buyers must come out of their hysteric ways soon. The cupboard must be full at some point. The son-in-law to great delight in Aldis, there was a woman trying to buy 90 cans of tomatos, after the till person called the manager, made to put 76 cans back..😀.

I always carry hand sanitizer, have done for years have a thing about dirty bastards not washing hands in toilets😡and hate touching bog doors also supermarket trolleys/baskets are filthy things.Have to go out tomorrow for a prescription and need fuel in Burgman to get to hospital next week.I had an appointment at eye clinic on Saturday but going to do it via phone call now.Joys of getting old life revolves round hospital visits 😂😂.I’ve changed my mind about surgery on me foot as didn’t fancy being in hospital while this lot around.

Very wise I think on the Surgery
This is an inconvenience but I feel I am better off than most - I have my garage and a big garden - I feel really sorry for young families in the high rises of the cities - we should spare a thought for them

Think your right - I have a double garage full of projects and a decent garden with summerhouse etc....but two of my daughters have small flats with no garden it is not going to be fun I think
