Hi Chris, I will be interested to hear what you think of the ride, I have one and cleaned up nicely similar to yours but I’ve never took it out 😱

Hi Carl that is way better than mine if I end up changing the colour that's the one I'm doing but I don't know if I do it might look odd with the rest being like it is 38 years old I have just do 80 odd miles today going to Ian and gills and a run out with them and I really enjoyed I haven't changed fork oil yet so she's a bit soft in did the air but did not make much difference just a bit and the front tyre is iffy ps if you don't like it I would be interested

Oh well temptation got the better of me and I found a few things to do on the cx I replaced the wrongly fitted mirrors that were so long you hit trees on the way down narrow roads with some silvers direct replacements for the us model which should be short stubby ones then the choke cable which was a bit hit and miss also silvers copy identical to original then left grip which was the last one in silvers US store a couple of decals came of while having a good pressure wash so rather than just stick a new one on the rad shroud I freshened it up a bit and the header tank lid and a few incorrect Allen bolts were changed for old Honda ones so as not to look out of place ,not massive jobs and work but subtle things that just improve it oh and I was out for a couple of hours yesterday splashing through water ,leaves and mud without crying about it like I do on my Superdream just a five minute rub down with an oily rag and back in the garage instead of a couple of hours drying cleaning and polishing

Also long gone were the tools and pressure gauge so replaced the tool roll and found a pressure gauge that fits in the space
