Have you got your oif a65 yet no pics seen yet and no pics of you out on the lighting, there was a classic bike track day nere you fungo this weekend thats were it would have been if i was over there or is it going to be a ornament. Mark, that OIF all fell through as funds / shipping it to me from NY was a problem in the end......and in the meantime the guy found another buyer (just as I found an acceptable shipping quote). You win some, you lose some. I do ride my Lightning. Not as much as I'd like to at the minute. Where I am living right now makes it not as enjoyable as it could be. These bikes need to be out on the open road with limited traffic and all way stops - cities can be a pain. For this you ideally need certain things you take for granted on a newer machine like turn signals, left gear change and decent brakes (IMO) but when the traffic is light, I take her out for sure - I really am loving it - she sounds amazing. I still need to fit my home market 4 gallon tank as I think these U.S ones look far too skinny. Hopefully this week i will do that. - it is all painted up and ready to go on. I ride my 2004 Triumph Bonneville 790cc a lot more, near enough every day but of course, that is a modern take on one of these oldies......but I do love riding that Triumph especially as it is now suitably loud so car drivers can hear me (or so I hope). Here is me coming back from a ride recently:

Missed it Pete. It was so crowded when we were in I think we missed quite a bit, so it was good to see the photos you posted up. I was a bit slack anyway, I only took 2 photos on the day. These were for Bodie's benefit, but it looks like he's moved on from his love of CB200s now It looks like the Deluxe problem is solved now - got a delivery just before Stafford. It's a bit of a project, so I'll post it up later when I've had time for a proper appraisal
