Hi all,
Would like to replace my comstar wheels with some more traditional spoke ones.
Would wheels from a CB250RS fit without bother?
Many thanks in advance Simon

they dont fit completely without bother but its a pretty easy job if your mechanically competent. the front should be a straight swap (use your superdream disc and disc bolts) the only fly in the ointment there is if your going from 19" to 18" the mudguard might look a bit odd. the rears a bit more difficult but not that hard, if I was doing it again I'd buy some CDS tube of the correct diameter and cut the new spacers from that. when you put the wheel in you really need to be able to use the spine of the frame (from headstock to seat, ignore the subframe its slightly offset) to centralise the wheel, then carefully measure and cut your spacers, then check again with everything bolted up. I found in my own cafe racer that when the rs wheel is central the sprockets line up nicely. give me a shout if you get stuck and I'll take measurements of my own bike if that helps.
