Fitting carbs before fitting the airbox is definitely the easy way, no swearing and rubbers slide on easy 👌

Would you also recommend this approach for removing the carbs in general say for general cleaning / maintenance? I would say so yes, bit more work in taking off the rear mudguard etc to remove the airbox, but it’s worth it I think.

I’ve only done the gene casing, used simoniz black engine enamel, however it’s too glossy the rest o& the engine is satin 😞. May have to do it again.
