hi all hope everyone is ok, just joined as I am looking to buy a 250n and was wondering if there was anything particular I should be looking out for? I've seen a 1979 250 that is on sorn but did pass its mot a week ago, it's not the original colour which was red in the log book but yellow! Looked at it last night and it ran ok and was all there, needs a bit of tlc but it's going for £1k. doing an HPI check this morning. Had Hondas most of my 45 years of riding but have a Yamaha RD350 at the moment but wanted something I could ride to work and back.

I know but I did have a yellow SP1 then a yellow Fireblade so why not!!!!!

Hi stigg, welcome along. My 400NA was yellow with green lacework inserts when I got it & I couldn't wait to change it, but if yours is the one I saw for sale recently, I really liked the colour scheme  |

Welcome , I,ve owned my 250 over 8 years now .Bought it to commute daily and have used it in all weathers although not used it this winter , needs a good tidy up but as only let me down once in all that time apart from a puncture on the evening before a Derbyshire meet, great bikes
