Thanks for that Ian, yes the frame number is 3 numbers out, ending .....3. Just going thru the stuff that came with it. The story is it was registered in June 1979, used for a year covering 1200 miles, and left till 2017 when the guy I bought it from did loads of work to it, only sold it as its a bit saddle high for him and he has dodgy knees, so its really only ever had 1 user owner with super low miles, Ill see if I can get some pics uploaded, Im afraid its not going to be one for the purists tho....!

It sure is, I love it, its like a brand new bike, with only 1200 miles ever done it practically is! The old fella I bought it from has done an cracking job and I couldnt resist it, I think the colour job is fab, I cant take any of the credit though for the work, but will have a load of fun with it Im sure, Its MOTd insured and ready to go when the sun comes back....

that's a very nice bike there harry its good to be individual life would be boring if we all went down the same road.enjoy the the bike i would.and certain comments can be taken the wrong way by new members i know they were not.just thinking aloud.i have 9 half empty or half full rattle cans all colours i found in my dads shed i may go for the picasso look but thats already been done if i remember.dream machine beat me on that one.or just learn to run at the rear on my black dream
