Whilst home in the UK over Christmas, I got the grab handle I was seeking and also a few other bits to 'enhance' my Bonnie. This is a part that bolts on to the existing dresser rail....she was awaiting it for the past fifteen years. Luckily, customs didn't have an issue this time with all the parts in my case including a NOS muddy for my Hawk. Key is, not to put such items in your hand luggage I reckon......(thinking back to the collector box incident of 2012) when I was 'rubber gloved' by customs.

I know Pete.....some corrosion seems evident in the second bolt hole due to the flash on that pic. I will address this right now. Simple to sort I assure you. Will report back.

Been needing to sort the 'droopy drawers' front indicators for some time. Bought some replacements from the homeland that should sort this issue:

If it were a “proper” Bonne the indicators would fall off or at least come loose every trip lol.

Hi I do like these bonnies and you could help me out here. I'm 60 in March and my wife has said as a retirement present she's going to get me another bike and I'm thinking it's going to be a Bonneville with a few miles on it . Just thought you may know what to look out for. I do like the look of the scrambler

I love wife's like this....she won't go wrong with a T100....carb versions are an investment (01-08) so you can play this card if you need it.

I'm not sure the figure she has in mind is the same as mine. 😁 I've seen one or two nice 05 which seem to be for the right money. Which would be carb.
Some time around March I'll post a pic.
Or sooner 😁

Here is a Hinckley Tangerine Dream Scrambler and a “proper” original pre unit Bonne.I don’t think it was a popular colour scheme in UK but was popular in USA.

Hasten to add neither of these bikes are mine.I did test ride Hinckley T100 and a Thruxton many years ago and preferred the Thruxton.

Key rings too. Thanks Pete. As you can see, it has been put to good use.
