For the slots, there is Belzona 1511 epoxy that would do the trick but at £74 for a pack, a bit pricey for such a small application.......

MANY THANKS to na44superdream, you are a star. I have bought the ebay set of head bolts and they are all spot on. I have now had the stripped thread helicoiled by SRS Engineering in Sutton who have done a cracking job I have to say (see pic) I'm planning some vapour blasting of the top half the engine and then try to put it all back together. Now a bit concerned that while football is OK when a game of two halves, an engine might NOT be...  |
