Sorted now thanks Im now certain that the crosshead bolt with the shoulder is a rogue part that was fitted by someone else The amount of bodges Ive found on this bike are unbelievable , why people cant just fix things properly the first time is beyond me |

Personally I’ve never been a fan of such penny pinching with bikes.

erm I have to admit to a certain amount of guilt here, see when you need to get to work in the morning and its your only transport you tend to use whatever part is handy and just about fits, then the tendency is to think sod it its working ok and not replace it with the correct part, I can only appologise...
