how did I not recognise a brough? specsavers is a calling, in my defence the tanks the right shape but I couldnt see any JAP markings on the engine and no sadly I’m not a millionare so your right I cant afford one. interesting (or possibly not) I was talking to a neighbour from across the road on saturday morning (he likes all sorts of nice but slighty left field stuff) and he knew a guy who bought a vincent for the ‘bargain’ price of £38,000. this is a world I simply cant afford to live in, I’ll stick with my superdream/nighthawk type thing

No doubt I reckon you'd get more joy from a £1200 250cc Superdream....and it's equally as iconic despite what some hating wallies may think. This is a weird old life.

One of my mates is through inheriting his Dads estate a millionaire and he is one of the tightest people I know ( nice bloke though) He wouldn’t go to a model engineering show Saturday because it was £9.50 entry,he has quite a few old bikes all bought cheapish from “mates” in vintage club he has just splashed out on a Porsche but that’s the only extravagant thing he’s done.I’m a pauper lol.

Two lovely bikes there Mark,I hope your health improves enough to stop you selling them.I’ve had to tailor my choice of bikes to health issues. My Hondamatic is great but bit small for me,might try a 750 four or a CX 500 next but my right knee is stiffening up now so maybe another knee op on way my hips I can cope with but not lack of knee bend.Good luck anyway mate.
