As well as picking up the wife's gran who lives in the area, I went there to view a fuel tank. Lovely patient and understanding lady on parts today. Totally in awe of the place, never knew it was so massive. (Asked for a job, lol).

I often go a ride over there, when I arrange a midlands ride out from the “nock” next year I’ll make sure we pop in for an hours browsing and a bacon sandwich with a cup of tea 😉

That old bike shop smell we all know will be very very potent there, worth a trip down just for that, can you imagine the stories and history all those bikes could tell.

I'm sure you'll agree that this is an exhausting sight:

This caught my eye in the background of one of the early pictures, I nearly commented on that picture but then I decided to scroll on and found this....proper eyecandy. When I was a 14 year old paper boy one of my deliveries had one of these and it was the first time I was ever jealous of something. I used to meet him wheeling this out nearly every morning but I was too shy to speak to him about it. But oh my did I want a go on that big shiny bike.... years later I remember having a (drunken?) argument with a bloke about the very existence of this bike, which he was adamant I was making up...all I could remember was the fact that it was red and white, had twin headlights, and was called (in my head at least) a Honda Britain!! is this bike for sale? Where is it? And how many banks do I need to rob to buy it? thanks in advance...... oh yeah and Merry Christmas one and all.😎😎😀😀 Mike.
