It's been a miserable week for us so far, poleaxed by some stomach bug, so we haven't been over the doorstep, let alone out on the bikes. At least we missed all that snow drama! Had a bit of Christmas cheer today though, when this arrived Depending on the weather, they might get the doors & roof felt on tomorrow and it'll be ready to start putting bikes in - don't think I've got the strength to start wheeling bike around yet though On a smaller scale, this arrived from Germany It's the brake pedal return spring, which was missing on my 400N. They were NLA at the time, so I managed to find an upholstery spring on ebay that sort of fitted. Bodie spotted this nos one on ebay, so I grabbed it. Don't know why it needed such a big box though - must be a German thing, the centre stand I got from there was also in an oversize box

Generous packaging is a good thing, Ian.....stops things getting damaged. Especially if they are hard to replace.

Thanks, Andy. They've done a great job of the shed, we're really pleased with it - just hope we can get all the bikes in & out ok. That bit's untested yet.

That's a very nice shed you have got Ian , are you going to insulate the walls I have one a bit smaller I use as the workshop about 12f x 12f I insulated it with 40 mm polystyrene sheets and then 9mm plywood keeps it really warm in the cold weather. Get well soon. Owen..

Great shed. Wish I had room for one that big. We converted our integral double garage into another room years ago, and I have to rent a neighbour's garage to keep my own bikes in.

I'll give me something to do over the winter, although it'll probably end up costing more

Great shed. Wish I had room for one that big. We converted our integral double garage into another room years ago, and I have to rent a neighbour's garage to keep my own bikes in. We put a conservatory on the side of our single garage a few years ago, otherwise the best solution would have been to convert that to double garage. Alternatively, we could try & cure our bike addiction!

Thanks Rich. We had 5 bikes in the old sheds, but they were crammed in & difficult to get in & out, and most of it had no separate floor so it was very damp. So, if I can get 5 bikes in & out the new one, I'll be happy. Of course, if we could sqeeze an extra one in, that woild be a real bonus as I could loose one out the garage & that would give me room to work on one in there. At the moment, I have to work on them outside, and it's a bit cold for that!
